Conference creation

Understand the basics

Conferences allows administrators to configure components in the context of an event, in general in articulation with a program. To start creating a conference, when on the conferences list, click the "New conference" button at the top right of the page.

The conference creation form is divided into different sections that are detailed in the sections below.

Conferences landing page is built by default and is not yet configurable.

Título	Requerido	The title of this conference.
Eslogan	Requerido	Un subtítulo para esta conferencia.
Posición del pedido	Requerido	Determines the order of the conference when displayed in the conferences index or homepage.
Slug URL	Requerido	Los slugs de URL se utilizan para generar las URLs que apuntan a este proceso. Solo acepta letras, números y guiones, y debe comenzar con una letra.
Etiqueta	Opcional	Hashtag redirecting to the X social network.
Resaltado	Opcional	Check if you want the conference to have more visibility in the conferences public list and the "Highlighted conferences" content block in the Homepage configuration.
Breve descripción	Requerido	A short explanation of what’s the conference about.
Descripción	Requerido	A long explanation of what’s the conference about.
Objetivos	Opcional	The objectives or goals for this conference.
Ubicación	Opcional	Where the conference takes place.

Campo	Tipo	Descripción
Imagen de inicio	Opcional	Image used in presentation cards of this conference. Guía para el archivo: Debe ser una imagen o un documento. Para imágenes, usar preferiblemente imágenes apaisadas, el servicio recorta la imagen. Maximum file size: 10 MB
Imagen de banner	Opcional	Image used in the header of the conference. Preferably a landscape image that does not have any text. El servicio cultiva la imagen. Maximum file size: 10 MB.

Filters

This section determines the filters available in the conference, in the different components. Filters can then be enabled and configured in each components.

Ámbitos habilitados	Opcional	Check if you want to have Scopes filtering in this conference.
Alcance	Opcional	Which Scope does this conference belongs to.
Mostrar estadísticas	Opcional	If you want statistics to be displayed on the conference landing page.

Duración

This section allows to provide information about the process start and end dates. It can be enabled on the landing page with the "Phase & duration" landing page block.

Fecha de inicio	Opcional	When this conference starts. Tienes un widget de calendario para elegir el día. Expected format: dd/mm/yyyy.
Fecha de fin	Opcional	When this conference ends. Tienes un widget de calendario para elegir el día. Expected format: dd/mm/yyyy.

Registros

This section is allows you to enable registrations and set slots and registration terms for your conference.

Campo	Tipo	Descripción
Registros habilitados	Opcional	Compruebe si desea gestionar los registros en la plataforma.
Ranuras disponibles	Opcional	Déjalo a 0 si tienes espacio ilimitado disponible.
Términos de registro	Required if "Registrations enabled" is checked.	The terms of service or conditions that a participant must accept for registering to the conference.

Related spaces

This section allows to create relations between processes, assemblies, and conferences.

Procesos participativos relacionados	Opcional	Select participatory processes related to the conference. Use the CTRL or CMD function to select more than one option.
Related assemblies	Opcional	Select assemblies related to the conference. Use the CTRL or CMD function to select more than one option.

Creando el programa

Para crear el programa de la conferencia necesitas crear un nuevo Componente de Reunión con las fechas y horas de las diferentes conversaciones, talleres, sesiones, etc. After publishing the meetings, the program button is visible in the landing page.
